If you are expecting 5 star food don't come. But if you want good food at a great price with southern hospitality come down. Also supporting the local owner
Their grits were great, it was very much like a home made meal. Not perfect but delicious.
Had eggs and bacon with 1 pancake grits and a side of country ham. Can't complain. -

The food was very good. The service was lacking. I went in a little after lunch, around 1:30, on a Saturday afternoon. There were 3 people working, one at the register taking orders, and two cooks. There were three tables with people already seated and three in line at register to give food orders. I made my way to the front of the line fairly fast maybe 3 minutes. I ordered 2 burgers and a large fry. It took about 20 minutes to get my order. I noticed there was never anyone that checked on the folks eating at the tables. I probably will eat from there again but only if I call my order in and pick up. Definitely wouldn't recommend eating in. The food was very good though.

I I only visited this established that one time and by the time I left I was overly disgusted with what I observed. Having work in Food Service management for over 16 years I know quite a bit about food safety and this place does not followed any guidelines. The woman that was cooking that day that handled our food was grabbing the raw hamburger and padding it out barehanded she never once stopped to wash or sanitize her hands she then continued to pick up the buns and grab the condiments and produce bare-handed after just handling raw hamburger meat the gentleman that was running the register and fixing the fries was picking up customers fries barehanded not using tongs or scoop and placing them on their trays both cases could cause major cross-contamination food borne illness and many other things after observing this I told them to please cancel my order I no longer wanted it I walked out and I have never going back I would not recommend this establishment to anyone not until someone goes in and completely does a rehal on the staff and the way they do their food handling I even captured it on video on my cell phone as proof to what I witnessed in this establishment that day.
